    Scaling a Regional to National Team

    When scaling a global team, I focus on building a strong foundation first—clear roles, standardized processes, and shared tools. I then implement a hub-and-spoke model, where global standards are set centrally and regional teams adapt locally. I also prioritize strong communication rhythms, onboarding frameworks, and enablement so new team members can ramp quickly. By combining structure, technology, and a focus on culture, I’m able to scale teams efficiently while maintaining quality and alignment across regions.

    Balancing Speed vs. Quality

    I balance speed and quality by setting clear standards upfront and using a tiered approach to development—so high-impact work gets deeper rigor, while lower-risk work moves faster. I also build quality into the process through one-on-ones and peer reviews and use templates and tools to drive consistency. This helps reduce rework and allows the team to deliver quickly without compromising on quality. Shifted to an IDD for Alpha in place of storyboard to solidify objectives and alignment from the start and this helped the focus of each review cycle bringing our average development time to 4-6 weeks instead of 6-8 weeks

    AI Implementation

    In one project, we had inconsistent and low-quality audio across courses, and developers were spending too much time recording and editing narration. I led the effort to implement an AI-based solution using WellSaid, which allowed us to generate professional, consistent voiceovers directly from scripts.


    I also established standards to ensure a uniform experience across courses. As a result, we saw a 40% increase in learner use of audio and reduced development time by about five days per course, while significantly improving overall quality and consistency.

    Cross Functional Alignment

    In a previous role, I was tasked with enhancing a highly complex timekeeping training program where stakeholders emphasized the need for more hands-on learning. The challenge was that the system’s depth and variability made it difficult for learners to fully grasp concepts through traditional instruction alone. I led the creation of a simulated training environment with pre-populated timesheet data that reflected real-world scenarios. I partnered with SMEs and technical teams to implement a daily auto-refresh, ensuring each cohort started with clean, consistent data, and worked with business SMEs to align scenarios with best practices across regions. As a result, we saw a 70% increase in content retention, measured by a significant drop in follow-up training requests and stronger learner performance during go-live. This approach also became a repeatable model for future programs.
